NGOs' Approach to the Reintegration of Returned Female Labor Migrants in Bangladesh

Abstract
Female labor migration for livelihood is becoming a common phenomenon in migrant-sending countries. Although female workers migrate on temporary contracts for better livelihoods, they face various exploitations abroad and severe challenges upon returning. This paper critically reviews the role and limitations of migration-focused NGOs in providing economic, social, psychological, and legal assistance for the reintegration of returned female migrants in Bangladesh.
