Abstract
Social Transformation in Bangladesh explores the social, political, and cultural implications of the rapid economic development in Bangladesh since independence in 1971. Defying early labels of being an international basket case, societal transformation is underway across diverse spheres. This edited volume analyses key topics including inclusivity, extractivism, sustainability, digital labor platforms, and marginalized communities.
