Abstract
Female entrepreneurship in Bangladesh has experienced rapid growth through social media and digital platforms. This study examines how home-based online micro-entrepreneurship influences intra-household gender relations and women's economic, social, and cultural empowerment in Bangladesh. Drawing on empirical qualitative data, the paper demonstrates how online home-based businesses allow women to negotiate household decision-making power, gain financial independence, and overcome mobility restrictions while navigating traditional patriarchal expectations.
