Abstract

Capital punishment remains one of the most debated human rights and legal issues in public governance. This paper provides an analytical review of the historical evolution, execution methods, and major religious perspectives surrounding the death penalty. It compares judicial rationale and human rights arguments across various jurisprudence systems to evaluate international trends toward capital punishment abolition.
